Renovation of the practice

The practice was completely renovated in January 2000 and digital systems such as inter-oral cameras and computers were installed in the treatment rooms. This paved the way for the digital dental practice.
The practice hired a dental hygienist (DH) from Ireland. This training did not exist in Germany at that time. The subject of dental prophylaxis (such as professional teeth cleaning) was still largely unknown.
Foundation of the joint practice

In March 1985, Dr Michael Blank and Dr Anton Berghammer founded a joint practice in Obermünsterstraße 11 in the old town of Regensburg. Back then, the dental practice had four treatment rooms and a practice laboratory where a dental technician made prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and inlays.
