20252025: Expansion with a practice at NeupfarrplatzFrom 1 July 2025, the practice of Dr Inge Geier will join the group practice Zahnärzte Obermünsterstraße and will operate under the new name Zahnärzte am Neupfarrplatz. The existing team will be strengthened by the addition of dentists Jule Schmelzer and René Schlegel.

2022State-of-the-art 3D X-ray for Regensburg and AbensbergModernisation of the Regensburg location with a digital 3D X-ray unit of the latest generation. A new digital 3D X-ray unit was also installed at the Abensberg location, which enables us to carry out modern X-ray diagnostics according to the latest standards at both locations.

2021The takeover of a dental practice and foundation of the MVZ "Zahnärzte an der Ab...Two new colleagues support us at our new location in Abensberg: Dr. Nicolas Kühn, the practice manager, and Ms Anja Ljunggren who was previously employed in the former practice of Dr Christine Wittmann. In the field of periodontology and paediatric dentistry, the practice team in Abensberg is supported by two specialists of the team of the Obermünster dentists from Regensburg.

2020Renovation and modernisationRenovation of the first section of the practice, which was built in 1985. We took advantage of the Covid-19 restrictions to rebuilt the area. All dentist chairs were replaced and all equipment was brought up to the latest technical standard. The rooms now have a timeless, open architecture with a modern design and numerous glass elements.

2013New 3D X-ray machine for the practiceThe practice was equipped with the latest generation 3D X-ray machine. Digital volume tomography (DVT) enables a three-dimensional image of the teeth and skull with low radiation exposure. This diagnostic technique is most frequently used in surgery and implantology but also endodontics and periodontics.

2006New model scanner Sirona Ineos Red for the laboratoryIn December 2005, the practice laboratory was equipped with a Sirona Ineos Red model scanner, which allowed for the models to be digitized and designed (CAD/CAM manufactured dental prostheses) within our premises.

2005Reconstruction of the practiceThe practice was rebuilt in January 2005 and an additional floor was added. A prophylaxis department and a separate shop called "Zahn & Seide" for dental hygiene products were integrated into the new floor. The practice increased in size to about 400 m² as a result of the construction work.

1985Foundation of the joint practiceIn March 1985, Dr Michael Blank and Dr Anton Berghammer founded a joint practice in Obermünsterstraße 11 in the old town of Regensburg. Back then, the dental practice had four treatment rooms and a practice laboratory where a dental technician made prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and inlays.
