We invested in a computer-controlled milling machine (Sirona Cerec MCXL) to instantly mill out the digitally designed dentures.
The practice was completely digitalised and card-less working was introduced. Since then, all patient files and X-ray images can be accessed on any PC in the practice.
The x-ray system was converted from analogue to digital. The X-ray images can now be copied on sheets and imported into a computer.
In December 2005, the practice laboratory was equipped with a Sirona Ineos Red model scanner, which allowed for the models to be digitized and designed (CAD/CAM manufactured dental prostheses) within our premises.
Dr. Mathias Siegmund joined the practice of Dr Michael Blank as a partner in July 2005. They founded the joint practice of Dr Blank and Dr. Siegmund. The joint practice with Dr. Anton Berghammer continued to exist.
